Good Invisibility

And now for something completely different...

I've been interested in minimalism lately and the new "web brutalism" -- basically, a backlash to bloated web design and a return to simple web pages for all (access them on any device, keep data charges low, create them with an emphasis on the words themselves). I heard some stuff about it on a segment on CBC Spark, one of my favourite radio shows.

As an experiment, here's a post I did on a minimalist website. It's titled "Good Invisibility."

It's been awhile since I wrote something for this blog. I solved a recent, longstanding technical challenge that I thought would be worth covering: installing a Linux distro on the finicky, quirky, yet still somehow useful and intriguing Asus T100 (10.1" laptop/tablet/netbook hybrid). Set Up Freephoneline on the Grandstream HT-701 (firmware 1.0.8.2)

Greetings again! As you may know, I'm a big fan of Freephoneline (FPL). Sick of expensive smartphone plans? Why I ditched mine, went prepaid, and switched to the Fongo Mobile app for free calls/cheap texts
